Parents can meet in person with a Public Health Nurse to have their babies weighed, discuss their child’s growth and development, receive parenting guidance, receive breastfeeding/chestfeeding support, get connected with community resources and more.
Who can attend:
Expectant parents
Parents and guardians of children from birth to six years of age
No appointment necessary. Clients can drop in during the clinic’s hours. Clients do not need OHIP coverage to receive services. Consultations with a Public Health Nurse may be limited to 15-20 minutes.

This workshop consists of five 90 minute sessions: 1:30pm-3pm - Tuesday April 7th, Thursday April 9th, Tuesday April 14th, Thursday April 16th, Tuesday April 21st Each session we will explore different strokes and techniques. Registration is for all 5 sessions. Please click here to register.

Pelvic Health Information Session with Shiloh Pelvic Physio (Greely)
Come and discover your pelvic floor! Pelvic floor physiotherapist Diana Blaney from Shiloh Pelvic Physio will be doing an information session on Tuesday April 21st at Greely Playgroup. Diana has focused the past 10 years of her career on maternal and pediatric pelvic health. This will be an informal session reviewing anatomy, common signs and symptoms of issues that may come up postpartum and some tips for regaining function. Come with your questions to this friendly informal introduction to pelvic health.

Perfect for parents and caregivers of children 18 months to 4 years who are preparing for or currently in the toilet learning stage. Parents/caregivers with infants are also welcome to come. A link will be sent out to registrants prior to the session.

Join us for a hands-on activity stations all about supporting fine motor development in infants, toddlers and preschoolers! Learn how everyday play helps build the small hand and finger muscles children need for feeding, dressing, drawing, and early writing.
We’ll explore simple, low-cost activities you can use at home, talk about what’s typical for different ages, and share easy ways to encourage independence. Families will also receive a fine motor take-home kit and activity ideas to keep the learning going at home.

Baby & Me Sensory Yoga with Laura Mei
This session blends gentle yoga for moms with playful, developmentally rich sensory activities for babies in their first six months—think soft movement, sensory exploration, and lots of sweet smiles. This calm, nurturing class offers a joyful space to bond, breathe, and be present with your little one. Essential oils will be used during class; please inform the instructor of any allergies. **Please bring your own yoga mat.

Join us on February 11th for a morning of Snow Much Fun with EarlyON and the Metcalfe Library! We’ll be hosting Open Doors programming, giving families the chance to move freely between two fun-filled spaces.
Visit the Metcalfe EarlyON space (downstairs) from 9:00–11:30am for snow-themed activities and play. Then head upstairs to the Metcalfe Library for drop-in crafts starting at 10:00am.
