Sensory Jar Make and Take in the Park
Join us on Tuesday, July 21st , at our Greely Community Centre Park playgroup for a fun sensory jar activity! Families are invited to explore a creative, hands-on sensory experience as they build their own sensory jars using different materials. This is a great opportunity for children to engage their senses and practice fine motor skills.
Ages and Stages Development Check In: One on One Sessions with Certified EarlyON Professional
Come explore your child’s development: Book a one on one session with our certified EarlyON professional who is trained in the Ages and Stages Questionnaire/Developmental Support Plan through the Infant and Early Mental Health Promotion and the Hospital for Sick Children Toronto.
What do these sessions look like?
You can book an individual time slot for you and your child. Come and play in our EarlyON space while discussing your child’s development. An Ages and Stages questionnaire will be available to fill out before or during the session. You and our certified staff will create a developmental support plan together to help support your child and focus on current and developing skills. Bubble Play in the Park
Join us on Wednesday, July 29th for Bubble Play at North Gower Recreation Park! Families will have the opportunity to explore different bubble themed play stations and learn how to continue the fun at home!

Yoga in the Park with Laura Mei
Please join us at Joe Rowan Park in Metcalfe for Yoga in the Park with Laura Mei from 9:45am-10:15am. Yoga in the park is a fun way for children aged 2 - 6 to be introduced to mindful movement and meditation with sun on their faces and grass under their feet. No yoga mat required - wear comfortable clothing.

Zooming Around the Park!
Join us for a fun-filled morning of “Zooming Around the Park!” from 10:00am–11:30am at Greely Village Park.
Bring your bike, scooter, stroller, tricycle, push car — anything that rolls on wheels — along with your helmet, and enjoy riding around the park path with other families!
After our ride, meet us at the gazebo for outdoor play activities and a snack. We can’t wait to see you there!
Infant and Child Basic CPR/First Aid Information Session with C.H. Training and Safety Services
During this session, parents and caregivers will learn about infant and child CPR, as well as basic first aid for common emergencies such as choking and burns etc.

Outdoor Spring Planting Playgroup
Join us Wednesday May 27th 9:30am-11:30am for a special outdoor playgroup in the courtyard at our Metcalfe location! Decorate a pant pot, plant your own seed to take home plus more! Join us for a supportive and practical virtual session designed to help parents navigate toilet learning with confidence. We’ll explore signs of readiness, different approaches, common challenges, and how to support your child in a calm, pressure-free way. This session focuses on development, emotional readiness, and realistic expectations — not trends or one “right” method.
Perfect for parents and caregivers of children 18 months to 4 years who are preparing for or currently in the toilet learning stage. Parents/caregivers with infants are also welcome to come. A link will be sent out to registrants prior to the session.

Fire Truck visit @North Gower Playgroup! Come join us for a fun morning of exploring a Fire Truck and learning about the equipment that firefighters use! Sparky the fire dog will be a special guest too!

Pelvic Health Information Session with Shiloh Pelvic Physio (Greely)
Come and discover your pelvic floor! Pelvic floor physiotherapist Diana Blaney from Shiloh Pelvic Physio will be doing an information session on Tuesday April 21st at Greely Playgroup. Diana has focused the past 10 years of her career on maternal and pediatric pelvic health. This will be an informal session reviewing anatomy, common signs and symptoms of issues that may come up postpartum and some tips for regaining function. Come with your questions to this friendly informal introduction to pelvic health.
